Luta Livre, also know as "Submission Wrestling", has a reported history of over 4,000 years. It was a popular form of martial art in China, Greece and Rome in the old ages. Luta Livre got really famous in the mid 20th Century in Rio de Janeiro when Euclydes Hatem (Tatu) fought and defeated George Gracie in the 40's.
